Review 1:

This book contains some recounts of the lives of four Buddhas: Ji-Gong, Jin-Gong Zu-Shi, Shi-sun, and Shi-Mu. More specifically you could say this book is an introductory read to the above mentioned Buddhas since it is only 69 pages, with half used to contain English, and the other half in Chinese. There were times when I wanted to know more and was dissapointed with the shortness of the chapters, but this book isn't a biography so don't expect details.

This has the benefit of making it an easy read covering the key areas, and although light on coverage, still a good read with examples of the trials experienced by the above mentioned Buddhas and is very interesting. It does make a good platform for further investigation if one is so inclined.
